Mongolia Without Waste (MWW) invite you to the Mongolia Sustainable Beverage Packaging Forum 2026, an exclusive, high-level forum bringing together policymakers, beverage producers, importers, recyclers, financial institutions, development partners, and circular economy experts to discuss the future of sustainable packaging and packaging waste management in Mongolia.

As Mongolia prepares to advance policies to strengthen packaging waste management and introduce Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) mechanisms into its legal framework, the Forum will serve as a neutral platform for dialogue, collaboration, and practical action among key stakeholders across the value chain.

The Forum will showcase industry leadership, international best practices, and emerging policy directions while fostering partnerships to accelerate Mongolia’s transition toward a circular economy.

Key Themes

  • Global Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) models and lessons for Mongolia
  • Legal and regulatory changes needed to implement EPR
  • Design for Circularity: Industry case showcase of sustainable beverage packaging solutions from leading beverage companies
  • Building efficient recycling value chains and practical approaches to collection and take-back systems
  • Financing Circular Packaging Systems: Role of green finance, blended finance, and impact investment and EPR in creating sustainable funding mechanisms

Forum Objectives

  • Strengthen collaboration between government, industry, recyclers, and development partners.
  • Increase awareness and understanding of EPR systems and circular economy approaches.
  • Showcase successful packaging innovation and recycling initiatives in Mongolia.
  • Facilitate practical discussions on policy, infrastructure, financing, and implementation pathways.
  • Establish a beverage sector consultative council to support EPR policy development and implementation.

The Forum will feature keynote presentations, policy and finance panel discussions, industry case studies, interactive breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with senior decision-makers from across the public and private sectors.
